Susan is the last to learn he has awoken, and finally the guilt hits. She hightails it back to town only to learn Mike is very, very miffed. Lynette has a pointless story about her kid losing at baseball so she bribes a child pitcher. Carlos moves back in to Gabby’s home. They fight lots. I think they’re in love. Andrew who was “on drama camp” did favours for the town doctor. Oh my. I’m not sure how old Andrew is, but this is borderline paedophilia in suburbia. 'Happiness' anyone? Attitudes in this ep waver between outrage to, “where’s the harm.” Get me Oprah.

[Seven/9:30pm] Brothers and Sisters. It’s every gay man’s worst nightmare. Becoming the “plus one” of your newly-deceased mother while other siblings carry on their lives. To make matters worse, Kevin bumps into the guy he was supposed to call at the movies. And Sally Field stupidly suggests they all sit together. There’s a funny line about “being too young to enjoy the pleasures of spitting into someone else’s mouth.” Still feels like an Arthur Miller / Tennessee Williams kitchen sink drama. Sally rants again. And I love it.

[Seven/10:30pm] Boston Legal. New Kids On The Block .New partner Jeffrey Coho takes on his first case at the Boston firm involving a murdered judge. Alan finds Claire's attitude towards people somewhat harsh as they both defend a transvestite who was fired for using the ladies' room. Meanwhile, Denny's blind date reveals his bigotry which comes back to haunt him. Starring WILLIAM SHATNER, CANDICE BERGEN, JAMES SPADER, RENE AUBERJONOIS, MARK VALLEY and JULIE BOWEN.

Snip and Tuck... but no Nip

This is just getting ridiculous.

In the latest amendment to Nine's late night schedule it will introduce the reality series Snip and Tuck: Miami at 10:35pm from Monday March 5.

The show is described as "Nip / Tuck meets Extreme Makeover in this series that follows the real drama 24/7 in New York plastic surgery clinics. We get up close and personal with the wealthy plastics surgeons as they transform and reshape their patients who embark on a emotional journey to change and improve their lives. The cast of surgeons and patients let us into their world to follow the journey from consultation to recovery."

But where's Nip / Tuck, dropped from the very same timeslot?

The change really just rubs salt in the wounds of aggrieved fans of Nip / Tuck still waiting to find out the identity of the serial attacker, 'The Carver', after episodes were pulled mid-series.

Nip / Tuck's unmasking of the Carver on the FX Network in the US achieved 5.2m viewers, making it the most-watched episode of an original series in FX's history.

In other changes Nine will also add True CSI, a forensic investigation series at 10:30 from Sunday March 4. Read more...

Seven's killer week win

Seven has dealt its competitors a convincing knockout punch in the second week of official ratings.

Seven grabbed a whopping 31% share for Week 8 to Nine's 26.2% and Ten's 20.8%. The ABC has 16.4% and SBS 5.6%.

It was a huge lead after the tight finish in Week 7 which saw Nine lose by just 0.1%.

Last week saw the introduction of Ugly Betty, Australia's Got Talent, Dancing With The Stars, Grey's Anatomy, What About Brian? and the NAB Cup. Nine returned Sixty Minutes and new CSI.

Seven's new Sunday line-up saw it start the week off with a bang, winning every night except for Thursday (9). It also won nine of the week's top ten shows.

Seven also won the week in every city, with Adelaide and Brisbane Nine's closest performance.

Seven still has some holes in its schedule including How I Met Your Mother and Bones. And despite the starry line-up, the future of Dancing With The Stars is not assured after it had its lowest premiere across all 6 seasons. Last year it regularly hovered around the 1.8m, well behind its glory days of 2.2m.

Meanwhile Ten is not off to a good start this year. It's best performance was in Adelaide. But the performance of shows like Celebrity Dog School (527,000) and The Con Test (719,000) remain a concern across the board.
