Comments Policy

Just a quick note to clarify my Comments Policy on the site.

All submitted comments await approval before being published.

Comments are not edited, but published in full. Therefore if there is any statement which I view as crossing a line there is the chance it may not be published.

I'm pretty liberal with the exchange of ideas and opinions, including those that disagree with me, but as the internet is rife with anonymous slagging off, or statements that are defamatory, I'm not interested in hosting a site that participates in sledging... so please be mindful of comments made. One thoughtless phrase can render an entire comment unpublishable.

Similarly if your post is just an anonymous, derogatory comment then it may not be published.

If a post has a link to a non-TV related site it may not be approved. It's the only way to minimise people pushing their own irrelevant agenda.

Comments considered Spoilers will not be published.

Comments which discriminate or attack based on gender, race, religion, sexual preference and similar may not be approved.

If your comments simply reiterate points already made it may not be published.

If you post without a Blogger ID bear in mind I will be unable to contact you should your comment not be approved. If in doubt use my email.

TV Tonight reserves the right to amend the Comments Policy.

Hello,

I am looking for an answer to a question, and I thought this is a great place to start.

Do you think that Californication is edited before it is aired on channel 10, with the fact the show only goes for 40 minutes with Ads. I believe it is censored and my wife disagrees.

What are your thoughts

Darren

Hi Darren

Its a cable produced show in the US hence the odd running time. I'm not aware of any editing.

(PS next time use TV Lounge section?) Cheers.
