Wanna Program Rage?

Rage is about to reach its twentieth birthday and is offering a viewer the chance to Guest Program and Host one evening!

The competition is the ultimate "Desert Island Disc" contest and would put anyone in esteemed company.

To enter viewers will need to devise 20 clips, with explanations as to why five of them have been selected. But think creatively, Rage is known for its lateral-ness, sense of humour and insight.

All of the contest details follow:

As part of rage’s 20th birthday celebrations, ABC TV is opening the vaults and offering one lucky punter the chance to guest program and host rage.

We are asking viewers to create their dream list of 20 music clips, and tell us why at least five of them mean something special to them. If the judges like your play list, you get the rage couch for the night!

To enter, go to the rage website at abc.net.au/rage

The competition is now open, and closes Friday May 4 at 5.00pm

Entries are limited to one per person. There will be a panel of judges, including current programmers from rage. Selection will be made on the basis of the creative strength of the list and it’s accessibility to the rage audience.

Panache and style with regard to the reasons for choosing the clips will also be important factors. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email, and posted on the rage website.

20 Years of Rage will screen this Saturday April 7 on ABC at 11:50pm.
