LM HealthWorks is a collection of educational resources, health and wellness support, and health-related programs and benefits. The LM HealthWorks Gateway is accessible 24/7, providing online access to trusted, up-to-date health and wellness information and tools.
You have access to some of the offerings available to employees such as Healthwise® and Private Health News—the same content providers for other well-known Internet sites like MSN Health and Web MD. If you've searched the Web for accurate and up-to-date health information, chances are you've already encountered Healthwise information. Now Lockheed Martin has partnered with these outstanding resources to give you access to trusted health information—without the ads or other distractions. You may want to bookmark these links for quick and easy access.
Also available to spouses, domestic partners and adult children via LM HealthWorks is the company-sponsored "Quit for Life" tobacco cessation program.
As LM HealthWorks continues to evolve to best meet the needs of the Lockheed Martin population additional offerings will be added. For example, in addition to the programs mentioned, in the fall of 2008, a personal heath assessment (PHA) will be offered to spouses or domestic partners of active non-bargained, benefit eligible, employees who are enrolled in a Lockheed Martin medical plan. The PHA will be accessible via the LM HealthWorks Web site.
