Program participants have the opportunity to gain experience through two to three years of rotational assignments, technical training and leadership development training. To ensure strong leadership in the future, we need people of all functional backgrounds with diverse educational and life experiences.

Mentoring
Mentoring is a key part of building an inclusive environment, and it has existed at many of our business locations for several years. We call it "learning through others." The goal of any mentoring program, no matter how formal, is the same. Employees are able to gain insight and advice from our top leaders and technical experts through a mentoring relationship, and this helps transfer the knowledge and expertise of our experienced workforce. Mentoring provides valuable learning experiences that cannot be replicated in a textbook. Lockheed Martin also offers executive mentoring. Executives are paired with high-potential employees engage in this knowledge transfer and take advantage of everything the mentoring relationship has to offer.
