Pleasant Grove Elementary and Red Lick Middle schools were recently named to the Texas Business and Education Coalition Honor Roll for 2009.

�This is the fourth time,� PGISD Superintendent Margaret Davis said about the elementary school�s achievement during consecutive years.

Pleasant Grove Elementary is among a select group. Less than 4 percent of the more than 8,000 Texas public schools will be honored Nov. 9 during an awards reception and dinner in San Antonio.

The two Texarkana area schools are among 254 being given the most prestigious academic awards...
