At yesterday's meeting, city council unanimously approved a spending up to $1.88 million to extend the James D. Pfluger Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge across Cesar Chavez, where it will connect with the Lance Armstrong Bikeway and the trails through the new Gables apartments (including a crossing under the railroad tracks that is currently being designed). more ›

For this season's contributor call, we're looking for outgoing, well-spoken, and informed Austinites with a keen interest in: urban development issues, local and state news, politics (especially pertaining to this year's statewide races), campus happenings, and general arts and entertainment.
