Looking for a place to get your Body Movin’? This Thursday, Get it Together and head on down to the Alamo Downtown where you can Shake Your Rump with the Beastie Boys Singalong.

Head down to the Capitol steps on Saturday, December 6 to be one of thousands celebrating the season with KUT's Eklektikos host, John Aielli. Aielli will be leading carolers through a songbook full of popular favorites between 6-7 pm, with the tree lighting to follow. This year's tree is a 40 ft. tall Juniper, which will be augmented by new Congress Ave. Holiday lights.

What's not to love about Labyrinth? You got Bowie, his enormous package (that we didn't notice as wee babes), a young, pre-getting-nekkid Jennifer Connelly, cool puppetry, and badass songs. Now, what if a theater were to get Jareth fans into one place to sing those badass songs? Well, it might have some power over us. Tonight's Labyrinth Sing-Along is sold out, but you've got three more chances to attend in the coming weeks.

It's no secret that we love Teen Witch. Like, love loves. Uttering the words "sing-along" in tandem with the title of our favorite 80's musical trainwreck causes our radar mind for everything cheesy to go into overdrive, but little did we know our capacity for squealiness until we also heard the name Zelda Rubinstein thrown into the mix. Zelda freakin' Rubinstein!! As in, the teensy character actor of Poltergeist fame, who just happens to play the pivotal role of irresistible mentor to our favorite burgeoning witch.

Whether you think Y2K really did bring down a musical apocalypse or not, you might want to check out the Alamo Downtown’s 90’s Alternative Sing-Along, presented this Thursday night.
