NBN Co Limited will offer a range of wholesale product components at prices that will allow Retail Service Providers to have maximum flexibility to customise a wide range of retail service offers. This will include data, voice and internet-based television along with high speed business and enterprise broadband services. Over time, NBN Co will introduce further products providing Retailer Service Providers with new capabilities to address consumer and business demands.
Having equivalent access to NBN Co’s wholesale services means that Retail Service Providers will be able to better compete on a level playing field. Strong competition amongst Retail Service Providers is expected to put downwards pressure on retail prices and provide an incentive for more innovative service offerings.
