Printable Biography

Chad's interest in ministry was first sparked by a mission's trip to Calcutta, India, during which he worked with Susanta Patra and Mother Theresa. From that time on, he felt a desire to teach overseas. Under the mentoring of Kurt and Lori Salierno, Chad's call to ministry was clarified. In 2001, Chad left his home church (Town Center Community) in Marietta, Georgia, and his job as a band director to assist a new church plant in Auckland, New Zealand.

Soon after he arrived in New Zealand, Chad met Diane at AIC. Diane had been studying at the University of Auckland and was introduced to the church by Nevelle Tan, her former pastor from the Church of God in Singapore. Born in the Netherlands to parents from Singapore, she moved many times with her family during her childhood until they finally settled in New Zealand. She completed her studies in film and acquired a job at Shine TV, the country's pioneer Christian television station. On January 15, 2005, Chad and Diane were married. Since that time, she has served in a number of capacities including worship leading, administration and creative arts.

Chad and Diane are currently working alongside missionaries Doug and Danette Beisley.
