  • Be hosted for the week by our four missionary families at KIST (Kima International School of Theology).
  • Share in their twice-weekly Chapel services.
  • Visit classes and eat with the students once or twice.
  • Do some small projects such as painting, working in the library, electrical work, plumbing, and miscellaneous projects needed by the missionaries.

Anyone interested in traveling and serving on a Church of God mission site. Eye on the World director, Don Smith’s ([email protected]) job is to connect people and churches to our mission projects around the world.  That includes organizing ministry trips to those mission sites.

Living Link specialist, Candy Power (1-800-848-2464, ext. 2129) will be glad to talk with you about your financial commitment and any difficulties you are having meeting the pledge.  God has been faithful in supplying the needs of our missionaries through the years.

Any funds coming into Church of God Ministries (office) must be treated as income for the missionary to whom the donor designates (per new tax regulations).  Thus the funds must be receipted and placed in the Living Link account of that designated missionary.  Church of God Ministries is not against missionaries receiving personal gifts.  If the donor wishes the funds to go to the missionary as a personal gift, we advise them to send those funds directly to the missionary.

Missionaries who are serving around the world are listed on www.chog.org;  on the Website you will find their biographies and newsletters reporting where they are and what they are doing (other than missionaries in places where this information might endanger them). Global Missions provides a “Global Missions Connection” poster or brochure that lists all who are serving.  You may call or email Candy Power in the Church of God Ministries office (1-800-646-2484, ext. 2129 or [email protected]) to request a brochure or prayer card for any of our missionaries. We also publish an annual Gift Giving Guide that lists all missionaries and projects.

The Gift Giving Guide is an annual publication that lists all Church of God regional coordinators, missionaries, national leaders, and their regional projects as well as projects connected to theological institutions, endorsed agencies, and Church of God Ministries. It provides an opportunity to give to Mass Media (Christians Broadcasting Hope), Compassionate Ministries, Homeland Missions, Ministers Aid, Leadership Development, Chaplain Ministries, Pastoral Health and Growth, and Global Missions general budget. It also contains updated information about the number of countries, churches and believers in the regions where Global Missions serves.

We do not apply administrative fees for Living Link missionaries.

Project fund goals include a support fee of 8 percent for all projects EXCEPT for approved theological institutions and approved capital projects, which carry a 4 percent support fee.  These excepted projects are marked with an asterisk (*) the Gift-Giving Guide.

Project Link enables donor congregations and individuals to connect with important missional projects that are directly connected with essential and vital needs around the globe.

Living Link is a partnership with the church that enables Church of God missionaries to go into the world to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.

The process can take from four months to a year.  Then once an individual is appointed as a missionary-elect, the person has 18 months to raise 100$ of Living Link pledges and 100% of start up funds.

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Church of God affiliation
  • Call from God to missionary service
  • Be 21 years of age
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States
  • Foundational Bible knowledge
  • Education that meets the field requirements
