Birthdays Anniversary | It is also their desire to see the work of the Church of God spread throughout the rest of Africa. The Church of God exists in less than a third of the countries on the continent of Africa and the needs are great. Kay began her ministry in Kenya, East Africa, where she served for six years. Sherman received his call to missions through three Anderson University Tri-S trips to Latin and Central America. As a couple, they began their mission's career in 1979 in Tanzania. Over the course of the next twenty-six years, they lived and worked in five African countries. Sherman and Kay served as regional coordina¬tors for Africa from 2005 until 2011. Sherman and Kay both gradu¬ated from Anderson University School of Theology. Sherman received his doctor of ministry degree from Anderson Uni¬versity School of Theology in May 2005. Sherman and Kay have two children, Ryan (wife Anna) and daughter Carrie, who is a special assignment missionary to Central Asia. Project # 42.10045 |
