Website - General

What functions can I perform as a subscriber on this website?

Once you have registered and logged into the site you can update your personal details, stop or redirect your newspaper home delivery, upgrade your subscription, make a payment, access the subscriber rewards page, provide feedback and more.

Please allow up to two business days for processing when submitting changes to your account.

 

I am trying to login but the system won’t recognise my details?

If you are trying to register for the first time, please use the last seven digits of your account number on your invoice in the “Subscriber ID” field within the “Yes I know my Subscriber ID” page. Please enter the name of your street only in street name, e.g. Smith not Smith Road.

If you are unsure of your account number, please call us on 1300 306 996 to request this information or register via the "No I don’t know my Subscriber ID" page.

Click on the forgotten password link in the sign-in area if this is the reason for your failed log-in. Otherwise, please email [email protected] with your Subscriber ID and/or name and address details for your account information to be emailed to you.

 

Website - Rewards

What is the subscriber rewards program?

This program has been designed to thank subscribers for their commitment to The Advertiser and Sunday Mail. There will regularly be a range of different rewards available to our subscribers. These rewards will be a combination of discounts, promotions, gift with purchase and "buy one get one free". There will also be regular competitions for subscribers to enter.

 

How will this program be communicated to me?

All offers will be visible on the website and our monthly email newsletter will outline new offers and promotion details.

 

How do I register for the Subscriber Rewards program?

You need to be a customer who pays direct to Advertiser newspapers, as opposed to separately direct to the newsagent. You also need to register to use this website.

 

What if I subscribe directly with my newsagent?

Subscriber Rewards via this website are only available when you subscribe directly with Advertiser Newspapers. Please call our subscriber Helpline on 1300 306 996 to convert.

 

My email address has changed. Where can I update it?

To update your email address, visit the Update Your Details page. Otherwise, email us at [email protected] with your Subscriber ID and/or name and address details, and your old and new email addresses for your subscription and website account to be updated.

Who do I contact for queries regarding my home delivery subscription and account?

Please call our Subscriber Helpline on 1300 306 996. Alternatively, email us at [email protected] and we will respond to your request within two business days.

 

What hours does the Subscriber Helpline operate?

Weekdays; 7.30am – 5.30pm

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays (except Christmas day); 7:30am - 11am

Outside these hours you can leave a voice mail message which we will respond within two business days.

 

Home Delivery Services

What time will my newspaper be delivered?

We endeavour to deliver your newspaper by 6.00am on weekdays and by 6.30am on weekends. Some households will receive delivery earlier than others. We cannot ensure that your paper will be delivered earlier than these times.

 

I live in a unit or apartment, where will my paper be delivered?

For customers living in apartments and where there is no security then usually in the foyer of the building. If it is a secure building it will depend on what access arrangements can be made with the body corporate. If access is a problem the newspaper may be left in or near the letterbox. For customers living in units, papers are usually delivered behind the communal letter box. Please contact us for further information.

 

How will my newspaper be delivered?

Your newspaper will be either rolled or flat within plastic wrap to ensure that it is in good condition for you to read.

 

Can I have the paper placed in my letterbox or on my doorstep?

The newsagent is obligated to deliver the paper onto your property and will do their best to provide it in an easily accessible spot. If you have specific delivery instructions, please call us.

 

What other papers can I get home delivered?

You can also get the Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph, Courier Mail, The Sportsman and The Special Sportsman delivered. Call our Subscriber Helpline on 1300 306 996 to arrange a subscription for these publications.

 

Suspensions, Missed Papers and Redirections

What happens if I move house?

Please call our Subscriber Helpline on 1300 306 996 at least two business days prior to moving. We will transfer your delivery to your new address on the date you require. Only available where normal home delivery exists.

 

What happens if my newspaper is not delivered for some reason?

Please call our Subscriber Helpline on 1300 306 996. If you call prior to 9am we will endeavour to provide you another paper that morning. If you call after 9am we will adjust your subscription for the missed paper.

 

What happens if I go on holiday?

Contact us at least two business days prior to leaving. If you are going interstate or overseas we will Stop your delivery and you will not be charged for these days. Please note that if you go on holidays within South Australia, you may be able to redirect your delivery to your holiday destination within normal home delivery areas.

 

Payments

What ways can I pay for my home delivery?

There are many payment options available for our newspaper subscriptions. VISA and MasterCard credit card or debit card deductions are available. We also have invoice options which can be paid;

  • In person at our News Shop at 31 Waymouth St, Adelaide with cash, debit or credit cards. The News Shop is open 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

  • By mail to Advertiser Newspapers, GPO Box 2559, Adelaide 5001 with a cheque or money order

  • BPay (see your invoice for full details)

  • Over the phone through our Subscriber Helpline 1300 306 996 with a debit or credit card

  • At a cash payment point, please call 1300 306 996 to find your nearest location.
