Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings as well as ministerial meetings are effective ways in which members collectively seek solutions and develop policies on issues of global importance. The Secretariat then implements programmes which respond to the requests of leaders and ministers.

CHOGM stands for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. Every two years, Commonwealth leaders meet for a few days to discuss global and Commonwealth issues, and to agree collective policies and initiatives.
