A USAF F-16 Fighting Falcon (Believed to be #88-0433), assigned to the 388th Fighter Wing, crashed at the Utah Test and Training Range at approximately 08:35hrs local time on May 4.

Chilean F-16BM makes belly landing

An F-16B MLU of the Chilean Air Force (FACh) encountered a problem during landing at its home base of Cerro Moreno near the city of Antofagasta in the north of Chile on March 30, 2012. Hydraulic failure prevented the landing gear from being extended, forcing the aircraft to perform a belly landing.

Airforce officials report that an F-16C block 40 from 36 FS based at Osan has crashed today near Kunsan Air Base, during a routine training mission. The pilot safely ejected.

Extreme fogging in the aircraft cockpit caused an F-16C Fighting Falcon (#87-0296) to depart the runway July 28, 2011, at the Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisc., according to an Air Combat Command Accident Investigation Board report released today.

Osan F-16C aborts take-off during exercise

An Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon aircraft experienced an engine malfunction during take-off during Operational Readiness Exercise Beverly Bulldog 12-01 at approximately 12.30h, local time on February 1st.
A HAF F-16D Block 52 from 337 Mira belly landed at Larissa Airbase in Greece on Thursday morning. Both crew were uninjured.

Kunsan F-16 mishap report released

Headquarters Pacific Air Forces released the results of its investigation into a July 29, 2011, ground collision of two F-16CM aircraft at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea.
An Air Force investigation into a crash of an F-16 belonging to the 176th Fighter Squadron concluded that the cause was engine failure.
At about 17.00h local time on Thursday, September 8th a micro burst during a wind storm caused the collapse of a sun shelter at Nellis AFB, Nevada. Eight airman were injured and several types of aircraft were damaged including F-16s.
An F-16C block 30 from 100 FS (#87-0296) sustained a hard landing after coming off the runway at Wittman Regional Airport during the AirVenture event at Oshkosh this morning.
Israel Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Ido Nechushtan ordered the temporary suspension of all training flights after an F-16 nearly crashed during a landing approach at Ramat David Air Base.
The pilot of the USAF F-16C that crashed on public land near the Nevada Test and Training Range earlier this week didn't survive, officials at Nellis Air Force Base said today.

USAF F-16C (#85-1413) crashed yesterday about 17.30h local time near Caliente, Nevada. The current status of the pilot is unknown.
An RDAF F-16 fighter aircraft assigned to the 445th Flight Test Squadron made an emergency landing on Edward's lakebed runway 23 at approximately 17.15h local time.
