Mass F-16 launch to fill skies

The skies around Luke Air Force Base will be busier than normal Wednesday during Cactus Starfighter, a large force exercise for the 310th Fighter Squadron and 310th Aircraft Maintenance Unit. During Cactus Starfighter, the combined efforts of Luke units will launch more than 30 F-16s at one time.

USAF to station F-16s in Poland as of 2013

Max Thunder roars at Kwangju

Flight sorties consisting of integrated U.S. and ROK Air Force aircraft and Airmen began on October 18 as the focal point of Max Thunder 10-02.
The Egyptian government added a reconnaissance pod to the shopping cart filled with 20 F-16C/D Block 50/52 aircraft. Goodrich Corporation, which will procure and deploy the DB-110 reconnaissance pod system for use on those F-16s, was awarded a $11 million contract.

The 162nd Fighter Wing, known for its premier international F-16 training programs, has an advantage when it comes to the development of international partnerships. As an integral part of U.S.-Pakistan relations, the wing was a clear choice to assist the Pakistan Air Force in its Red Flag debut.
