Greek F-16C crashes during night training

A Greek F-16C Block 52+ from 337 Mira crashed during a night training exercise. Unfortunately the pilot did not survive.
Farmers living near Tengah Air Base have been told to destroy about 200 tons of crops, which have been doused with droplets of red dye last Friday.
Air Force Times reports that an F-15C Eagle pilot has been cited for causing the mid-air collision that cost more than $1 million in repairs to the F-16 he struck during the June 11 accident.
Air Force Times is reporting that an accident investigation board has concluded its investigation and released a report on Monday saying that F-16C (#91-0386) crashed due to a jammed throttle cable during a night training mission over the Nevada test range.
Turkish F-16s returning from an operation against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were unable to land in Diyarbakir last week due to a lack of communication.
The US Air Force said bolts which were improperly installed caused the crash of an F-16 last January near Owens Lake in remote eastern California.

The Italian Air Force is reporting the crash of a 37° Stormo F-16 ADF based out of Trapani-Birgi. The pilot ejected safely.

F-16 emergency landing in North Carolina

On Tuesday morning, a USAF F-16 was forced to make an emergency landing at Wilmington International Airport (ILM), North Carolina.
A pilot's disorientation during a night-time take off caused an F-16CG to crash in Iraq on June 15, killing the pilot immediately on impact, Air Force officials announced Thursday.
Two weeks after an Air Force jet plummeted to the ground near Soramae Di Zolto Alto, this tiny Alpine village, life is pretty much back to the way it was before.
Two F-16 jet fighters stationed at Krzesiny airport in western Poland, were forced to make an emergency landing, due to avionics malfunctions.
Pilot error is the cause cited for the crash of an F-16 Fighting Falcon during a March 12 training flight off the South Florida coast.

510th FS F-16 crashes in Italy

A 510th FS F-16 crashed this evening on mountains near Belluno (North of Aviano). The pilot ejected safely.

South Korean KF-16D crashed due to vertigo

The RoKAF releases the accident report regarding the KF-16D that crash in the Yellow Sea on 20 July 2007. The fatal crash has been attributed to spatial disorientation or commonly known as pilots' vertigo.
