Ok...haven't seen Timothy Green...yet...but when you dredge up an amazing (yes...AMAZING) movie like Dan in Real Life for your negativity someone has to call you out. If your comparison is indeed valid and this film deserves to stand next to Dan in any way...then giving it a negative review is idiotic.

More likely though, the comparison itself is pointless and you just took a look at your DVD collection for some older movie you feel bad about loving (being forced to live up to those pretentious critic stereotypes must suck) and just stuck it in here so you could try to feel relevant.

Not everything needs to teach some Zen like, profound, and spiritual enlightening mumbo jumbo. Sometimes you just need to be entertained and feel good. I am sick of these critics that say a movie is not worth seeing just because it has no underlying "profound" subject.
