Hugh Jackman has set an Oct. 12 benefit performance of his one-man Broadway show to benefit the Motion Picture and Television Fund.

The “One Night Only” event will take place at The Dolby Theatre. Twentieth Century Fox Chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos and his wife Ann will co-chair.

Jackman became involved with the MPTF in 2007 when he first performed and co-hosted the organization’s “A Fine Romance” event.

“Through Jim Gianopulos I became aware of Mptf’s deep roots in Hollywood and their amazing work helping entertainment industry colleagues in need and the simple concept of taking care of our own,” said Hugh Jackman. “Films, television and theatre have brought me great success throughout my career and it is one of my greatest pleasures to give back by putting on a show as a benefit to support Mptf.”
