Turkey says watchdog will define bank commission fees

A new consumer law which will come into effect by mid-2014 will tame the fees and commissions that banks charge for conventional services as the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) will now determine which services banks can ask their customers to pay for, Custom and Trade Minister Hayati Yazıcı has said.
