Department: Fairfield School of Business (FSB), Leadership

Location: 1-4 Katherine Street, Croydon, CR0 1NX. The post holder may be required to work at any other site in near future

Responsible to: Director (CEO) / and Provost

Salary: £ negotiable

Contract: minimum one year's contract (full-time 35hrs per week), extendable on performance and growth of the business

Minimum requirements for the post

Education:

• Master's degree in Business and Teaching Qualification

Experience & Position:

• Work experience in Education more than 10 years
• Work experience in a leadership role for more than 5 years
• Experience in Educational Oversight and / or QAA inspections
• Involved in validation of new programs both on undergraduate and postgraduate level
• Management skills including education and experience

Purpose of the Role:

• To provide the leadership for School both on Academic and non-Academic levels under the management of the FSB Provost and FSB Director (CEO).
• To lead the academic development of the School
• To liaise with the senior officers of the School to ensure the effective management of all academic systems
• To develop an effective working relationship with the Provost and Director in order to meet the highest standards of corporate governance
• To enhance the reputation of the School for academic excellence, quality and engagement
• To influence and advocate on behalf of the School and its interests through active engagement with the sector, government, business and alumni - in the UK and internationally
