Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Update - March, 2013
SEMIBA -- started a new school year under Brazilian leadership, and began a new Lay Leaders Training Course (one-year). Many new students, and taking advantage of the new facilities in the Airport Alliance Church (Construction completed in Feb 2011; Sanctuary began to be used in July, 2012).
TABOAO -- Praise the Lord for the smooth transition of leadership, with our departure from the field in April 2012. Pray for Pr. Marcelo and the leadership team, as they continue to evangelize and build up this young church.
BEV's HEALTH -- Many have prayed for Bev's healing. After nearly two years of struggles with cancer, Bev passed away in January, 2013. This puts me in the situation of moving forward in ministry, without my ministry partner. Pray for the Lord's direction for the next steps, and for the perseverance to complete my doctoral studies.

GREAT COMMISSION FUND – Pushing Back the Darkness through International Ministries – every contribution to the Great Commission Fund enables us and other workers of the Christian & Missionary Alliance to keep pushing back the darkness. As we rejoice with the faithful giving for this current year, we trust you will be faithful to the end.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

Pray for God's consolation and direction.
Pray for perseverance in completing Paul's doctoral studies.

Praise the Lord for His provision in miraculous ways through the period of Bev's battle with cancer -- strength to continue ministry, healing in times of treatments and surgery, and persistence in grace to the end.

Praise the Lord for enabling us to complete our responsibilities in Brazil, and pass them on to capable Brazilian leaders. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness in bringing these people to us in the right, and in continuing to minister through them. It is His Church.
