Visiting Students

Qualified domestic and international exchange students are welcome to take electives in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

For Domestic Students

You are eligible to apply for elective study with us if you are currently enrolled in another LCME accredited medical school. All inquiries and applications must go through the P&S Office of Student Affairs.

For International Exchange Students

You are eligible to apply for elective study with us if you are enrolled in a medical school that maintains a student exchange program with P&S. For a complete list of P&S international exchange partners, please visit the International Exchange Programs page on the P&S website. All inquiries and applications must go through the P&S Office of Student Affairs.

If your medical school does not have an exchange with P&S, you are not eligible for elective study with us; however, you may be eligible for an observership. For more information, please contact our department directly.
