Australia's interest rates may be at record lows, but they're way higher than elsewhere
It means money continues to pour in. It also means the Australian Dollar is higher than it would otherwise be (for now at least), and is ultimately why the RBA is thinking about rate cuts, in the teeth of runaway housing markets in the biggest cities.
While all this may be a headache for the Reserve Bank, the financial markets are taking advantage.
