Tours and Information Sessions
The best way to learn about Caltech is to experience it personally. Tours and information sessions provide an insider's perspective on what makes Caltech unique—from its innovative curriculum and student traditions to its world-class faculty and legacy of pioneering research. Tours are led by a current Techer, and information sessions are led by a member of the Caltech Undergraduate Admissions team.
Prospective Student Tours
We encourage prospective students and their families visit campus for a tour and information session. Our student-led tours show what it's like to live and study here, and our counselor-led information sessions detail the admissions process and some of the more official aspects of Caltech.
Group Tours
Special tours for high-school groups of 10 or more can be arranged. These tours offer a general introduction to the campus and focus on the undergraduate experience at Caltech.

Campus Tour Videos
What is it like to live, learn, do research, and even eat at Caltech? See Caltech through the eyes of two of our current Techers as they walk you around campus and tell you about their experiences.
Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)
JPL is located about six miles from the Caltech campus. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions does not arrange JPL tours for visitors; however, you may book your tour in advance through the JPL Public Services Office online.
