The Writers’ Guild of Alberta is offering FREE memberships to students enrolled in post-secondary programs so that they can enjoy the benefits of being a part of an organization that has been devoted to inspiring, connecting, supporting, encouraging and promoting Alberta writers since 1980. Memberships are free for the entirety of the student’s program. To register for a FREE membership, please click here and have the following information ready:

• Your contact information: mailing address, email address and phone number
• The name of your school
• The post-secondary writing program you are enrolled in
• Your expected date of graduation (you may update this later down the line!)
