Begun in 2013 as a joint project between the Writers' Guild of Alberta, The Book Publishers Association of Alberta and Parkland Regional Library, Read Alberta Books is a display of the nominated and winning books from the Alberta book awards season that tours small libraries within the Alberta regional libraries systems. In 2014, three more regional libraries joined Parkland in making the display available to their rural libraries.
