There are so many issues in this episode that it's hard to address them all. Frank puts the kibosh on the book because it begins to get Claire too much a part of it. We can tell that it doesn't make her happy. Jackie has had enough and quits. Remy follows her quickly. Heather Dunbar decides to go down and dirty and bring up Claire's lies about her abortion. This is a mistake. This is evidence in the doctor's journal which Doug has kept against the President's wishes. He even admits that he may have been thinking of using it for his own benefit. Doug requests a return to his position of Chief of Staff. Everything is heading toward Iowa. Jackie turns her votes over to Heather which makes the race about as even as it can be. What is constantly visible, however, is tension that is growing between Frank and Claire. He has such tunnel vision that he doesn't see what's going on with her. What fun this series is. One more episode to go and then another long wait.
