Great Hall and Marble Foyer

This unique space can provide for a cocktail celebration for up to 1000 people or a banquet dinner for up to 650 people.

An impressive entry to the Great Hall, the Marble Foyer features two sweeping marble staircases and 48 marble clad columns, reminiscent of a eucalyptus forest. The foyer is also an elegant, pre-dinner cocktail venue.

Queen's Terrace Cafe and Gallery

The Queens Terrace Café, outdoor terrace and Gallery are an unmatched venue for a cocktail celebration for up to 150 people or dinner for up to 90 people. Located on the first floor of Parliament House, this venue provides unequalled views from the pinnacle of the Parliamentary Triangle, which is sure to impress your guests. These spectacular views include Lake Burley Griffin, Old Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial. With proximity to the Great Hall, the café can also be used for VIP cocktails to complement a gala function.

Mural Hall

Located directly under the iconic flag mast, the Mural Hall is a matchless event space for special events. Adorned with large ceramic murals depicting a river’s journey from mountain to sea, the Mural Hall is a spacious, hollow square layout with abundant natural light. Accommodating up to 200 guests for a cocktail celebration, or up to 130 guests at a banquet function, this discreet and peaceful space provides an elegant setting for any occasion.

Senate and House of Representatives Alcoves

The Senate and House of Representative alcoves feature floor to ceiling windows that provide beautiful views of Canberra. These private and comfortable annexes are ideal for small meetings and seminars as well as cocktail parties and intimate dinners.

These alcoves comfortably cater for a cocktail party of 90, a formal banquet dinner for 70, or as a theatre style for 80 people for your upcoming seminar or company meeting.

The Private Dining rooms, as their name suggests, are private and intimate venues. Perfect for small meetings, business lunches and formal dinners, each of the five dining rooms are available individually or combined as one single room. These rooms have the capacity to provide a suitable venue for an executive boardroom for 15 through to a dinner for 100 guests.

Members and Guests Dining Room

When Parliament is sitting, the Members and Guests dining room is used by Members and Senators to entertain their guests. This exclusive venue is available for private functions outside of the Parliamentary sitting period.
