Getting to Kentucky
Out-of-state Bourbon explorers can arrive at any airport in Kentucky (or even Cincinnati, Ohio)—but we recommend touching down at Louisville International Airport, or Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport.

Experience the thrill and excitement of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® by bicycle! It’s no easy feat—but experienced cyclists will appreciate the challenge (and beauty) of biking through Kentucky’s world-famous rolling hills.
On-Demand Rides
Nothing is more important than your safety while enjoying the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® tour. The transportation providers above are the best way to plan travel to and from distilleries; however, guests in need of on-demand rides can utilize Lyft or CityScoot services, as well.
Lyft offers safe rides to patrons traveling in all Kentucky Bourbon Trail communities. While drivers are abundant in Louisville and Lexington, wait times in rural areas can be long and unpredictable. Guests are encouraged to keep this in mind and use the app’s scheduling function to plan ahead.
Alternatively, CityScoot is an on-demand designated driver service available to patrons in the Louisville area. If you’re out and feel you’ve become impaired, CityScoot will arrive and take you home in your own vehicle.
