The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our friendly, dynamic, nontraditional contact center.  Our member services specialists are at the heart of our nonprofit organization and promote the medical imaging profession by interacting with members via phone, email and chat. The successful candidate will be highly professional, personable, collaborative and service driven.

 

Responsibilities

·        Thoroughly and efficiently gathers information to proactively fulfill needs, create records and place orders while providing information regarding services and benefits.

·        Will process membership and product orders, tracks and reviews continuing education certificates while receiving inbound and making outbound phone calls.

·        Communicates new and emerging issues, maintains reports and ensures accurate data entry.

Requirements

·        High school diploma or GED accepted; associate’s degree in customer service or communications a plus.

·        3-5 years’ of phone-based customer service experience, with a passion for resolving customer issues.

·        Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, highly professional work and team environment.

·        Critical, analytical thinking, problem-solving and time-management skills.

·        Polished and stellar phone etiquette skills.

·        Must be able to perform basic tasks of the position with full supervision, including call handling, data entry, responding to member inquiries via phone, email and chat. 

·        Solid attention to detail skills, with the ability to review and verify documents for content and accuracy.

·        Comfortable answering inbound calls and making outbound calls.

·        Ability to proactively upsell and cross sell products.

·        Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
