Jake Lacy Joins Zoe Kravitz on Hulu’s ‘High Fidelity’ Series
Jake Lacy is joining Hulu’s “High Fidelity” series adaptation, a Hulu spokesperson and a representative for Lacy told TheWrap on Monday. Lacy will be a series regular alongside previously announced lead Zoë Kravitz.

The series recently moved to Hulu from Disney+, following Disney’s acquisition of Fox assets, which included a 60% stake in Hulu. The project comes from writers Veronica West and Sarah Kucserka, as well as Midnight Radio and ABC Signature.

A retelling of the 1995 novel by Nick Hornby and the 2000 feature film starring John Cusack, the new iteration will flip the script by telling the story from a female point of view through Kravitz’s character.

Lacy will play Clyde, who is described as effortlessly cute, if not the coolest guy in the room. A recent N.Y. transplant from L.A., he’s still trying to figure out how to navigate the city. Despite his lack of interest in music,

‘Saturday Night Live’ Spec Script Suggests that Thanos Hosting Could Be a Lot of Fun

‘Saturday Night Live’ Spec Script Suggests that Thanos Hosting Could Be a Lot of Fun
Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, upcoming fourth-timer Paul Rudd — seems like nearly every major “Avengers” star has hosted “Saturday Night Live” at some point. But whither Thanos? Yes, Josh Brolin, in his non-purple state, has hosted the show twice, but why shouldn’t the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most powerful supervillain get a chance to take over Studio 8H?

To dig into this question, editor and comedian Dominick Nero created a spec script for “Saturday Night Live” to address this issue — and also poke a little fun at the familiar rhythms of the long-running sketch series. Not every sketch is a winner (just like on regular “Saturday Night Live”) but it’s a fun read for anyone trying to avoid “Endgame” spoilers, one which invokes memories of classic viral specs like Billy Domineau’s “‘Seinfeld’ does 9/11” script.

what would it be like if Thanos hosted Saturday Night Live?

Making a Nat Geo Doc Series in the Frozen Arctic is Even Harder Than You Think — Watch

Making a Nat Geo Doc Series in the Frozen Arctic is Even Harder Than You Think — Watch
Over the 11-season run of “Life Below Zero,” the NatGeo series has won a trio of Emmys. If, in addition to Cinematography and Picture Editing, there was a category for “pulling a snowmobile from a freezing lake in the immediate aftermath of a dangerous windstorm,” the show might be up for a few more.

The new short form series “Life Behind Life Below Zero” (itself competing for an Emmy this year) charts the behind-the-scenes efforts it takes to document life in extreme freezing conditions. It illustrates how phrases like “we had to abandon our camp” and inescapable facts like an already untenable temperature dropping another 40 degrees are part of the realities of this show’s production.

This episode features interview snippets with the show’s crew, from those running cameras to the series’ Safety Manager. For a show ostensibly set in a place where extreme conditions are the norm, it

Amazon Apologizes for Leaking ‘Game of Thrones’ Episode Early
The weekly “Game of Thrones” festivities got off to an auspicious start on Sunday when Amazon Prime subscribers in Germany gained early access to the second episode of the HBO series’ farewell season.

In an oversight that took longer than the length of “Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” to rectify, customers were able to watch the episode well in advance of others around the globe.

“We regret that for a short time Amazon customers in Germany were able to access episode two of season eight of Game of Thrones…This was an error and has been rectified,” a company representative told the BBC.

It’s the latest challenge in a series of efforts to ensure that viewers across the globe are experiencing new episodes of the show at the same time. Massive measures have been put in place to prevent footage leaks, including the ongoing decision to withhold advance screeners from press outlets.
