Portland Timbers coach Giovanni Savarese didn’t want to talk about LAFC coach Bob Bradley at training Wednesday afternoon, but did tell reporters that the Timbers “played the right way" in Saturday’s 3-2 loss to LAFC. Following Saturday’s game, Bradley went off on the Timbers and referee Robert Sibiga’s handling of the match, telling the media that LAFC superstar Carlos Vela got “mauled” during the game.
