Ben Stokes' England heroics on Sunday that levelled the Ashes series attracted record viewing figures.

Sky drew a peak audience of 2.1million during Sunday's dramatic day at Headingley - their highest ever figure for a Test match.

England's victory in the World Cup final earlier this summer - in which Stokes was also the star - drew in 8.3m viewers.

Ben Stokes scored an unbeaten 135 to win the third Test for England and keep the Ashes alive

Meanwhile, Stokes is wanted back at the scene of his Headingley miracle by the Leeds-based Hundred team.

Contact has been made with the 28-year-old to inform him of the interest, although the ECB will ultimately decide which players go where when it comes to those on central contracts.
