That said, I am puzzled as to wh...y an instrument so important in the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods seems to be banned from your broadcasts. Exquisite organ compositions by J.S. Bach, for instances, are played only in the grossly outsized orchestral transcriptions. The important quality of timbre is ignored, if not crushed, in these monstrosities.
