    Top ebooks in growing up

Millions of people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.

The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement, a major motion picture, and the upcoming, critically acclaimed graphic novel White Bird  - on sale 10/1/2019!

I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.

August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.

"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

Do you know that you are programmed to be who you are at this moment, with all your predicted successes and failures?

“Civilizations have been born and completed and then forgotten again and again. There is nothing new under the sun. What is has been. All that we learn and discover has existed before” (Colonel James Churchward, 33rd degree Freemason). However, “each generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it” (George Orwell, 33rd degree Freemason).

Maybe you’ve been able to somehow challenge the system in which you’ve been raised by achieving some things that weren’t expected in your lifetime while complying with many others that you weren’t in favor of, but surely you didn’t transform it enough, or you would have lost friends, relatives, jobs and even love. “Anyone who challenges the prevailing orthodoxy finds himself silenced with surprising effectiveness. A genuinely unfashionable opinion is almost never given a fair hearing” (George Orwell, Freemason).

Do you remember quitting your dreams? It was supposed to happen. Any advice received from people around you, especially the ones that love you the most, were fabricated to make you follow the same mind programming in which you and them are included so that nobody goes out of it. “If thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought” (George Orwell, Freemason), and that’s how the sentences heard since you were born, from parents, teachers and friends, as well as ideas strongly imposed by the media, conditioned the way you think as an individual.

This programming is so strong that interferes with our emotions and affects our personality. Nonetheless, within this book a path is shown to deprogram yourself, develop the power of being aware of the universal truth and change life as much as you want it to be changed. Hopefully, you’ll “stretch thinking and awareness” while “uncovering many truths” just like other readers of this bestseller recognized to have accomplished.

We’re now living in the Age of Aquarius, and “as Aquarius is an airy, scientific and intellectual sign, the New Faith for this age must be rooted in reason” (Max Heindel, Rosicrucian Fellowship). This is the prophecy and this book shows the way to understand it and accept it by alchemically transforming your conscience and spirit for the order of the new world.

Taking into consideration the amount of information presented here and the level of simplification applied, this is surely the most empowering, enlightening, complete and uplifting book you’ll ever read in your entire life about gaining wealth, power and health with the law of attraction.

Why are we so very different from one another? Why do we organise our lives in such disparate ways? Why are our modes of assimilating information so varied? Why are our approaches to decision-making so diverse? Why are our forms of relaxing and ‘recharging our batteries’ so dissimilar?

‘Your Guide to the ID16 Personality Types’ will help you to understand both yourselves and other people better. It will aid you not only in avoiding any number of traps, but also in making the most of your personal potential, as well as in taking the right decisions about your education and career and in building healthy relationships with others.

The book contains the ID16 Personality Test, which will enable you to determine your own personality type. It also offers a comprehensive description of each of the sixteen types. As you explore it, you will find the answer to a number of crucial questions:

    * How do the people who fall within a particular personality type think and what do they feel? How do they make decisions? How do they solve problems? What makes them anxious? What do they fear? What irritates them?
    * Which personality types are they happy to encounter on their road through life and which ones do they avoid? What kind of friends, life partners and parents do they make? How are they perceived by others?
    * What are their vocational predispositions? What sort of work environments allow them to function most effectively? Which careers best suit their personality type?
    * What are their strengths and what do they need to work on? How can they make the most of their potential and avoid pitfalls?
    * Which famous people fall within a particular personality type?
    * Which nation displays the most features characteristic of a given type

ID16 is a personality typology which draws on the theory developed by Carl Gustav Jung. Typologies formulated on the basis of Jung’s theory are widely used in teaching, training, coaching and human resource management, as well as in career and relationship counselling. They also form a basis for numerous programmes supporting personal development and improving interpersonal relationships. The majority of global businesses employ Jungian personality tests as a standard tool in their recruitment procedures and vocational development processes.

An uplifting story about role models, football, and tackling fear set in the heart of Friday Night Lights country—from the bestselling author of Heat, Travel Team, and Fantasy League.

Clay is a quarterback's dream. When he zips across the field, arms outstretched, waiting for the ball to sail into his hands, there's no denying him the catch. Like most Texans, Clay is never more at home than when playing football. And his coach, a former star player for the Dallas Cowboys, is just like a second father.

But as the football season kicks off, Clay begins to notice some odd behavior from his coach--lapses in his memory and strange mood swings. The conclusion is painful, but obvious: Coach Cooper is showing side effects of the many concussions he sustained during his playing days. As Clay's season wears on, it becomes clear that the real victory will be to help his coach walk onto that famous star logo in the middle of Cowboys Field one last time--during a Thanksgiving day ceremony honoring him and his former Super Bowl-winning teammates.

In Lone Stars, #1 New York Times bestseller Mike Lupica demonstrates once again that there is no children's sports novelist today who can match his ability to weave a story of vivid sports action and heartfelt emotion. A touching story that proves life is bigger than a game.

    Praise for Lone Stars

"Lupica has crafted another fine sports story for the middle school reader."—VOYA

"Young readers, no matter their level of interest in the game, will be drawn in by this touching, timely story."—Booklist

"There is plenty of great football action to keep the sports enthusiasts engaged, and the information about concussive injury is easily understood and applied. This is an entertaining read that also imparts an important message."—School Library Connection
Growing up as a biracial child, Maggy Williams had three options: she could identify as black, white, or mixed. She chose to embrace her multiracial heritage because she was taught that she could. Her hope is that this book will help children to realize that it is possible to integrate their multiple racial identities.
"I'm Mixed is a simple story which approaches how we describe ourselves from an early age, from the perspective of a young girl who has a black father and a white mother. It encourages children to embrace their appearance without labeling themselves as one race or another. In an increasingly diverse world, acceptance, inclusion and self-awareness are imperative, and Maggy Williams gives us a great starting point for conversation."
--Lori Siesto, MME-MT, MT-BC, author, educator and music therapist

"Maggy Williams' text comes straight from the heart, helping us all say goodbye to the days when a child had to own only one identity. This book is a loving message to all children, regardless of ethnicity. Love who you are, be who you are meant to be and find the joy in being you!"
--Ellen E. Sadler, children's book author and award-winning educator

"At a time when so many feel excluded and less-than, I'm Mixed, by Maggy Williams, reminds us that everyone is to be appreciated and celebrated for who and what they are."
--Cyrus Webb, media personality, author, and speaker

"Talk about an empowering storybook! If ever this book was needed, it is now! Maggy Williams inspires courage, self-respect and strength in children who are 'mixed' and children of all colors."
    --DeeDee Ginns-Gruenberg, The Self-Esteem Shop

For over ten years of my life I’ve been analyzing wealth at the light of spiritual principles, and this journey has led me to many countries and to many business owners and billionaires, which I have analyzed regarding such paradigms. At some point I was able to realize that such spiritual principles were indeed being applied every single time and despite their beliefs. Nonetheless, I did notice as well that I was missing some links, some pieces on this puzzle, in order to fully understand how wealth can be produced in any given situation and with any business idea. From this awareness emerged the knowledge presented in this book. It reveals what I’ve learned regarding the laws that guide wealth when combined with several ancient religious laws, and how I’ve applied them to prosper in my own personal life, in order to now enjoy a lifestyle that allows me to travel where and when I want, and this while living in any country I choose to, but also while making more money as I sleep than many people I know with their daily job. It is, fundamentally, a book based on the conversations I had with many of them, when trying to make them understand why their mind is operating against them and against their wishes. In essence, this book presents an opportunity to shift self-destructive mental patterns and change towards a direction that allows you to obtain what you want from life, while obeying social moral and personal ethics, and also while being positive and spiritual in your whole attitude towards existence.
THE MEDIUM is the 1st book in the Emily Chambers Spirit Medium Trilogy.

What readers and reviewers are saying about THE MEDIUM

"This is a beautiful story filled with all kinds of surprises.  I look forward to the next book in the series because these are characters are really want to know more about." ~ 5 stars, Paranormal Romance Guild

"A book worth every one of the 5 stars!"

    "Couldn"t put it down"

    Description

Spirit medium Emily Chambers has a problem. Actually, she has several. As if seeing dead people isn't a big enough social disadvantage, she also has to contend with an escaped demon and a handsome ghost with a secret past. And then there's the question of her parentage. Being born an entire year after her father's death (yes, a year) and without the pale skin of other respectable English ladies, Emily is as much a mystery as the ghost assigned to her

Jacob Beaufort's spirit has been unable to crossover since his death several months ago.  It might have something to do with the fact he was murdered. Or it might not. All he knows is, he has been assigned by the Otherworld's administrators to a girl named Emily. A girl who can see and touch him. A girl who released a shape-shifting demon into the mortal realm. Together they must send the demon back before it wreaks havoc on London. It should be a simple assignment, but they soon learn there's nothing simple when a living woman and a dead man fall in love.
