Vehicles that are branded with the Airbus logo have either to be Airbus owned or be exclusively used for Airbus purposes.
Vehicles supplied by a subcontractor that may eventually be used within a non-Airbus context should not be branded with our logo.
Any co-branding (Supplier logo + Airbus logo) is not allowed.
Vehicles not owned by Airbus that are used for people transportation and have to be identified as operating for Airbus should use removable panels positioned behind windscreen and if needed behind side or rear windows.
The branding consists of the Airbus logo only; the exclusion zone has to be respected to keep the logo free standing from any major vehicle component.
Panels for busses or shuttles consist of a white Airbus logo on a blue background.
On white or bright vehicle background colour the logo is applied in Airbus blue (Pantone 281C, C100 M85 Y5 K36, RAL 5013, White vinyl opaque 3M-100-003)
On a dark background colour it is applied in white (White vinyl opaque 3M-100-10)
Stickers must be cutout letters.
The logo is to be applied to the sides and the rear of vehicles only, the front of vehicles with exception of busses & trucks is not branded.
The stickers should be positioned on a flat surface with uniform background colour.
On the sides of the vehicle prefer a positioning towards the front, on the rear a center positioning or right hand side where possible.
Sizes of the logo depends on the type of vehicle.
Typical logo sizes:
Small vehicles, mini van and van: 50cm wide
Busses: 100cm wide
Trucks: 200cm wide
Typical panel size for subcontractor vehicles:
Bus: 80cm wide
Shuttle bus: 50cm wide
For permanently Airbus owned vehicles there is the possibility to apply the Airbus aircraft tail design as a distinctive decorative feature.
