The Airbus Air Leak Detector Camera is a tool to support you in detecting air leaks in the bleed system.
The leak detector cam is able to locate the ultrasonic sound sources which are the signature of the air leak. The tool allows to perform a quantitative test, which is more specific that current qualitative bubbles check test, aluminium foil test or temperature templates procedures. The tool allows to detect air leaks and measure the leak air flow.
General Features
- The Leak detector cam uses 124 microphones to form a very precise acoustic image in the desired direction.
       This acoustic image is transposed in real-time on top of a digital camera picture, which allows the user to accurately
       see from which directions sound is reaching to the camera.
- The NL Camera is a lot more sensitive and accurate than the human ear, which means that it can locate both
       sound sources that are inaudible to the human ear, as well as sound sour-ces that the human ear cannot reliably locate.Â
- The NL Camera has a frequency range that extends to ultrasonic frequencies, which is a huge benefit since many leaks
       phenomena can be located precisely using ultrasound.
