ATM: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) deploys airbus light twin engine helicopters with tail numbers CGH-1451 and CGH-1452 to support the conduct of typhoon dam...age assessment and emergency response operations in Catanduanes today, 02 November 2020.
The Coast Guard Aviation Force's BN Islander plane has already been dispatched this morning to render necessary assistance to the typhoon-ravaged province and pinpoint hotspots where immediate rescue and relief missions should be prioritized.
Aside from doctors, onboard PCG aerial assets are communications personnel with high-frequency radios and portable transmitters to enhance telecommunications service in the said province.
PCG Commandant, Admiral George V Ursabia Jr assures the people of Catanduanes that help is on its way and implored the men and women of the PCG to extend all-out efforts to provide necessary assistance to the most affected families.
"Let us be God's instrument in helping the people of Catanduanes," Admiral Ursabia conveyed.
