The ACJ350 XWB – the latest addition to ACJ’ family of VIP widebodies – offers innovative technology such as wings that morph in-flight to produce the most efficient and cost-effective flight possible as well as a fuselage made from next-generation carbon composite materials. The XWB stands for Xtra Widebody, enabling the ACJ350 to deliver Xtra comfort, Xtra innovative technology, Xtra efficiency and to be Xtra easy to outfit.

Widebodies such as the ACJ350 XWB offer the equivalent of several houses of floorspace, so creating cabins that meet demanding certification rules can be challenging, especially when they are installed within a fuselage made of new materials such as carbonfibre.

Addressing challenging carbon cabin outfitting via an innovative solution reducing risk, lead-time and cost, Airbus has thus chosen to pre-equip the carbon fibre fuselage of the ACJ350 XWB with hundreds of attachment points and has designed standard system interfaces, greatly simplifying the work of cabin-outfitters. It has also worked extensively with several cabin outfitters to ensure smooth completions for customers. The following outfitters have been approved for ACJ350 XWB completions:

• Lufthansa Technik

The ACJ350 XWB can fly twenty-five passengers 11,100 nm/ 20,557 km or more than 22 hours non-stop, making it today’s most modern and capable corporate jet.
