Airbus Helicopters Training Services France (Marignane)

Airbus Helicopters in France

At Airbus Helicopters Training Services we have delivered training for more than 14,000 trainees in the last 10 years. It is thanks to the confidence of our civil & military customers that we could confirm our position as a reference in helicopter training. We fulfill local regulation requirements as well as demanding international standards to work hand-in-hand with our customers in the safest conditions.

Our mission is to offer our customers the training that is best suited to their needs allowing them to perform their missions in the safest and most efficient way.

In the Marignane facility, a building of 2,200 m2 features the maintenance hangar allowing more than 2,000 technicians a year to get hands-on practice on full-scale mock-ups. We continuously introduce and improve computer-based training tools and strive to integrate powerful and cost-effective solutions to traditional teaching methods. The cutting-edge Helionix trainer plays a central role in enabling key capabilities for all Helionix aircraft for both pilots and technicians. Together with Helisim, we help pilots gain confidence and expertise needed to safely pilot.

In addition to ground instruction and simulators, flight training is averaging around 2,000 FH per year. Airbus Helicopters Training Services is constantly making efforts to provide end-to-end services and is proud of its strong collaboration with Aerocampus for technician ab initio training, as well as of a historical partnership with Turbomeca to provide Engine courses.
