Airbus in India
Airbus operates two locations in India, which are both focused on training activities for airlines flying A320 Family aircraft in the region.
Located in India’s “Silicon Valley,” Airbus Training India (ATI) Bangalore centre has provided a wide range of technical training courses to more than 2,250 people from India and the surrounding region. With EASA approvals since 2007, trainees can access the entire Airbus training catalogue for A320 Family maintenance.
In 2013, Airbus training enhanced its presence in New Delhi, with the establishment of an Airbus flight training centre, which provides flight training for A320 Family jetliners to operators in India.
Flight training approvals
Fight training at Airbus’ New Delhi facility is approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA and DGCA India is in progress).
Maintenance training approvals
Airbus Training India’s Bangalore centre provides maintenance training that is certified to the requirements of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation), India.
