UEC-Klimov (which is incorporated in United Engine Corporation of State Corporation Rostec) signed its first international full life cycle contract with Sky One Airways, one of the Indian commercial operators of helicopters. The ceremony took place online during the HeliRussia 2020 international helicopter industry exhibition in Moscow.

Rostec’s United Engine Corporation (UEC) at the XIII International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia showcased its helicopter powerplant segment — VK-2500PS-03 and TV7-117V turboshaft engines developed and produced by St.Petersburg-based UEC-Klimov and intended respectively for Mi-171A2 and Mi-38 helicopters. HeliRussia expo took place in Moscow from 15^th to 17^th September.

As part of the project to create the PD-35 aircraft engine, United Engine Corporation (UEC) of the Rostec State Corporation has developed the necessary element of the power unit — a composite fan blade, the Executive Director of UEC Valery Geikin has reported.
