The H160 opened a new chapter for Airbus as first H-generation rotorcraft.

When we presented the new H160 for its first test flight on 13 June 2015, this single aircraft represented the culmination of years of pioneering work by Airbus Helicopter engineers, integrating 68 different patented technologies to provide a step change in customer experience. The aircraft, the first of a new generation of Airbus helicopters, combines precision performance and safety with style and comfort, providing the smoothest and quietest of flying experiences.

Designed and built for the 120-160 seat market, Airbus’ A220-300 (IATA code: 223) combines advanced aerodynamics and efficient geared turbofan engines.

2018

A busy 2018 included the maiden flights of Airbus Helicopters’ first Light Civil Helicopter (LCH) prototype and the Skyways unmanned aerial vehicle.

HAI Heli-Expo 2019

Airbus Helicopters is to showcase its mission-ready products and services at the 2019 HAI Heli-Expo trade show exhibit, being held 5-7 March in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

2016-2020

From 2012 to 2017, Airbus Helicopter’s key milestones included the U.S. tour of its X3 high-speed hybrid helicopter, handover of the first Puma MK2 and the H175’s maiden flight.
