In September 2015, 193 World Leaders unanimously committed to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to achieve extraordinary things by 2030. The new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development calls on all nations to mobilize efforts to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind. The United Nations in Sri Lanka is working closely with the Government and people of this country to ensure that these goals can be achieved.
