I remember seeing the first clips from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and how Ben Affleck’s Batman was eye-to-eye with Henry Cavill’s Superman and I thought… Dang, Batman is tall. Turns out that he really is. Affleck is the largest actor to play Batman and is even bigger than the character is described in the comics. The below infograph breaks it down. The comic Batman was said to be 6’2″ and weight in at 210lbs which was almost exactly what Adam West was give or take a few pounds.

While talking with Glamour (via The Hollywood Reporter), Gal Gadot discussed Wonder Woman’s role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, calling her “independent” from the other members of the trilogy. “She is not relying on a man, and she’s not there because of a love story. She’s not there to serve someone else,” Gadot explained. Pointing out that the character has many strengths and powers, she considered Wonder Woman’s heart as her key feature. “That’s her strength. I think women are amazing for being able to show what they feel,” she said.

Following the debut of the first official TV spot, Warner Bros. has released another spot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this one expanding upon a scene previously teased in the trailer, in which Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent and Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne have a not-so-meet-cute at a party. While the first spot featured our heroes clashing a bit more aggressively in costume, this one offers a passive-aggressive meeting between the two men as their civilian alter-egos, interrupted by that weasel Lex Luthor. There’s a whole lot going on in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice — iconic superheroes clashing, the introduction of a new Batman and all of his many (many, many) gadgets, Wonder Woman’s debut, mega-villains, mega-plots…but let’s hope that Snyder can deliver on his promise of creating grounded, interesting characters amid all that racket.
