We hosted a series of Brexit seminars for members where leading authorities from the Scottish legal profession and the academic community will analyse the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.
Our second seminar was in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University and took place Thursday 23 February 2017 at GCU.
The panel of speakers was comprised of Profesor Nicole Busby, Professor of Labour Law and Head of School, University of Strathclyde; Dr Peter Geoghegan, writer and lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland; and Anthony Speaight QC, Barrister at 4 Pump Court Chambers, Temple, London and member of the Bill of Rights Commission.
The first of our seminars took place Thursday 3 November 2016 at our offices on Morrison Street.
The panel of speakers comprised Christine O’Neill, Chairman of Brodies LLP; Professor Stephen Tierney who is a Professor of Constitutional Theory and Director of the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law; and Dr. Andrew Tickell of Glasgow Caledonian University.
