LawCare is an independent charity that provides support and information for anyone in the legal community who is feeling the pressure of work or study, experiencing relationship or financial problems, coping with illness, dependency, bereavement, anxiety or depression.

Their free emotional support is not just limited to practitioners, but is available to staff and their families.

LawCare offers a confidential support service, with helpline calls, emails and webchats answered by trained staff and volunteers who have first-hand experience of working in the law.  They also have a network of peer supporters, a variety of factsheets and other resources on their website, and can offer training on mental health and wellbeing.

The independent service is financially supported by legal professional bodies across the UK and Ireland, including the Law Society of Scotland.

Connect your business with LawCare

LawCare can provide tailored presentations for firms and organisations, available for a small donation to the charity. This can help provide information to colleagues of the support available from LawCare, as well as providing mental health awareness among your business.
