The Fair Rents (Scotland) Bill changes the law about private rented housing in Scotland to try to control rent levels. The Bill adds to the law about private rented housing in the Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016.
The Bill was introduced in the Scottish Parliament by Pauline McNeill MSP on 1 June 2020.
