The accreditation is open to those who can demonstrate a good level of experience in legal technology. The types of experience we are looking for are listed below
- Lead legal technology projects (as opposed to being a member of the team)
- Recognised as expert in certain areas of legal technology
- Responsible for the strategic development of technology projects
- Possess knowledge, skills and experience that would be regarded as significantly above the ordinary
- Write about legal technology. Examples might include for textbooks, websites, or for legal/legal technology publications
- Present externally on areas of legal technology - Examples might be at universities, for clients, or for CPD/CLE for lawyers/legal technologists
The sort of areas that you are involved with might include
- Building client products
- Change management
- Cybersecurity
- Data analytics and visualisation
- Document automation
- E-discovery
- Machine learning
- Use of expert systems

What does good look like?

| Thought leadership | Evidence of having contributed to academic texts or journals in your area(s) of specialism. A series of articles for legal and/or technology journals in your area(s) of specialism. A series of blogs, articles or opinion pieces in your area(s) of specialism. |
| Leading on projects | Evidence of leading on legal technology projects at our organisation either via a CV or reference of a colleague, former colleague or client. News articles re: projects that have completed. |
| Peer recognition | A reference from a peer in another non-client organisation highlighting your knowledge, skills and abilities. |
| Strategic development | Evidence of leading on strategic development within their organisation. |
| Extraordinary skills, knowledge and experience | Relevant qualifications. Membership of any relevant professional bodies or societies. Any other pertinent information (e.g. proficiency in a particular discipline, ability in a language). |
